DCA
The DCA is the first AeroUD aircraft made entirely of composite materials. Carbon, glass, and PVC foam are used on molds milled with a three-axis CNC machine purchased specifically for the project. From then on, all of the team's aircraft would be built this way.
A 3205 mm rectangular wing with elliptical tips, featuring a Selig S1223 profile that tapers into a GOE-796 at the tips to limit induced drag. In Zagreb, it finished fourth out of 28 ranked teams, making it the top Italian entry.
Two years later, it would become the benchmark that Gabriele had to beat.
