PH-2
The PH-2 was born three times. The 2022 rules confined the aircraft inside a rhombus 1500 mm on a side: the team — down to six people after the pandemic and a one-year postponement — answered with the smallest aircraft in the fleet, just over two metres of span and a full-flying V-tail.
Two prototypes came first. BcdM1, with a plywood fuselage, only had to prove the aerodynamics worked. PH-1 brought the empty weight down from 4530 to 2350 grams and flew all winter to gather data.
In Munich it finished second, first among the Italian teams.
